October 2017 marks 500 years since Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to the door of the Wittenberg Castle church. While Luther was instrumental in reforming the church, he certainly was not alone in his efforts. In fact, several key figures played vital roles in protesting what they understood to be errors in the church’s theology and practice at that time.
