Last year, Crossway’s innovative ESV Reader’s Bible made waves as a beautiful new edition designed to help Bible readers engage with the biblical text as it was originally written: a single, unbroken narrative. To this end, we removed verse numbers, section headings, and translation footnotes so as to declutter each page and help readers focus their attention on the biblical text itself.
