“It’s very important that each of them has their own Bible because without it, how would they grow? How would they be fed spiritually? So the Scripture itself will help. It’s not enough just coming on Sundays and listening to us pastors who are going to deliver the word to them. I always tell them, “you ought to have read the Scripture”, and how can they read if they don’t have a Bible? I really encourage them to have their own Bible. I know how it shapes my life and how it changes me. The Lord is going to use the same word to change them too, and they will be a better person. They will become better Filipinos. And I believe that they are going to witness more effectively for the Lord because they know the truth in the Word of the Lord.” —Joseph Lu
